Brendan Marshall jumps to victory at AAI Indoor
Games Pre-event favourite Brendan Marshall
made no mistakes in the men’s long jump at the AAI Indoor Games in Nenagh on Sunday 25th January
and put together a very good series of jumps to take first place. His winning jump was 6.81m, but in fact,
even his worst jump was good enough to win, such was his form and dominance in Nenagh. Congratulations to Brendan on his victory.
Sean McMullin's medal successes in National Masters Indoors Well done to Sean McMullin
on winning three medals in his age-category at the AAI National Masters Indoors in Nenagh
on Sunday 11th January. Sean won bronze in the 1,500m, bronze in the 3,000m and silver
in the 3,000m track-walk. A great day's competition for this master athlete
Brendan Marshall starts indoor season with a good win Competing as a guest in the Munster Senior Indoors in Nenagh on Sunday 4th January, Brendan Marshall got his indoor season off to the best possible start by easily winning the
Senior Men's Long Jump in 6.73m, a clear 0.2m ahead of second place. Master athlete Sean
McMullin was also competing and took 2nd place in the Senior men 5,000m race walk
