Mark Christie was beaten by
the narrowest of margins in the St. Patrick's 5km Festival Road Race organised by Metro St. Brigid's
AC in Dublin on Sunday 15th March. Starting and finishing at the Mansion House on Dawson Street, Mark was right in contention
all the way through on a fast flat course and was beaten by only 1 second in a very close finish. Mark's time
of 14:15 is very good for 5km on the road and will give him a boost of confidence for the season ahead.
Also
competing for Mullingar was Paddy Kelly, Martin Lyons, Justin Murtagh and
Kieran Nolan, clearly getting in some early competititon ahead of the Mullingar Road League in May.
