Congratulations to Mark Christie on leading home a very large field of athletes at the Dunboyne 4 mile road race on Sunday 29th March in 18:56 to record an excellent early season victory. Conditions were cold and wet and far from ideal but this didn’t bother Mark as he pulled away at the end to win comfortably.

Running in support was Tomas Navichas, Ben Vaitkavichius (1st in his master age category), Maurice Looby (4th in his master age category), Martin Lyons and Kieran Nolan, and the team was rewarded with a well earned team prize for 4th Club, proving that Mullingar is a Club to be reckoned with in cross country, indoors or on the road race circuit.

in the 1,500m underage race that preceded the main race, victory went to Stephen Nea. Ian McCormack also competed and finished an excellent fifth. Well done lads.
