Running under the "Brooks" banner, Damien Bateman finished 6th in the 5,000m Open Men's A race at the Portland Track Festival in Oregon on Saturday 13th June.

Though his time of 13:59.00 is a bit off his 13:52.51 PB that he set in California in mid-April, Damien reports that he was still happy enough with it, in what was a very competitive race and it shows that he continues to be sought out to compete in quality competition on the US track circuit.
