Martin Lyons, Paddy Kelly and Maurice Looby represented the Club with distinction at the Lisburn Half Marathon on Wednesday 17th June where they finished 14th, 15th and 16th overall with Martin and Paddy both finishing in 78:06 and Maurice in 78:19, which are impressive times for the distance for relative newcomers to the event.

They are talking of entering a Club team in the AAI National Marathon Championships, which are run in conjunction with the Dublin City Marathon in October, and judging by the results from Lisburn, it looks like their preparations are right on target and there’ll be great competition among the Senior men in the Club to be part of that team.
