With the current talented crop of underage athletes, there’s no doubt but the future of the Club is very bright. Talented as they are, our underage athletes still look up to our Senior stars like Martin Fagan, Mark Christie and Damien Bateman and aspire to follow in their footsteps.

In this regard there was further good news for Mullingar on Saturday 27th June with the brilliant run by Mark Christie when finishing second in a top class International race in France in a time of 3 minutes 43 seconds.

This follows the excellent 3,000m race he won recently and shows he is going to have a great track season.
