Taking full advantage of the crisp spring day that was St. Patrick’s Day 2010, Liam McGlynn was very pleased with his 11th place overall finish from 155 finishers in 29:31 at the Fr. Murphy’s AC 5 mile road race in Ballivor. The course was nice and conditions were perfect with warm sunshine and a breeze. Also running well and enjoying this ever popular and very well organized race was Eddie Newman (30:16) and Christy Creagh (36:20), who were happy to make the short trip to Ballivor to enjoy the hospitality of our near neighbour Club and to support the event.
