Competing mid-week in the South O’Hanlon AC 5km Road Race on 7th July at Seneschalstown, near Navan, Vinny Connolly was very pleased with his 4th place overall finish, which was good enough to earn him first prize for top Junior.

With great support from Pat Muldoon Junior in 12th, Matt Glennon in 15th (and 3rd in his master category), Mark Carroll, Kieran Nolan and Aidan Daly, the Mullingar men proved too strong for the opposition and were worthy winners of the Senior Men’s team prize.

Also competing was Mary Scully (1st in her master category), Michelle O’Halloran (2nd in her master category) and Breda Daly who were unlucky to finish out of the Women’s Team prizes.

Well done to the Mullingar crew who continue to be excellent ambassadors for the Club on the road race circuit.
