Aoife Hogan (Moate), Shane Boggs and Brendan Marshall were honoured by Athletics Leinster at a function in Carlow on Saturday 5th January and awarded the Leinster Star Awards in recognition of their performances at Leinster Championships during 2007. Congratulations to them from everyone at Mullingar Harriers.

Also, congratulations to all our juvenile cross country teams for retaining the Jimmy Morrissey Perpetual Trophy for the best Juvenile cross country Club in Leinster. After the fantastic performances in Avondale and Abbeyleix it is really no surprise that Mullingar was the runaway winner of the Cup once more. Mullingar has won this Cup every year since it was first presented in 2000, which is a magnificent achievement and reflects all the hard work put in by our young athletes.
