While the focus at the Sports Star
of the Year Awards was on the current stars of Mullingar Harriers, some of the future stars were in action the day after
at the Leinster Juvenile Indoor Championships at the Nenagh Indoor Complex.
As many of the Club's middle-distance
athletes are still involved with the Schools cross country championships and decided not to compete at the Indoors, Mullingar
had a small number of athletes in action in Nenagh. However, the quality of performances was still very high.
In total, 3 gold medals were won,
3 silver, 1 bronze and there were 4 fourth place finishes and many more excellent performances.

A total of 7 athletes now qualify
as of right to the National indoor finals in April. As always, thanks to the parents who provided transport and travelled
the long journey to Nenagh in support.
