Mullingar was well represented at the Raheny 5km road race on Sunday 27th January where under lovely spring sunshine Noel Kelly finished an impressive 8th place overall in a quality field. Ben Vaitkavichius was next in for the Club, winning his master age-category. Having a particularly brilliant run, Eddie Newman was next in, followed closely by Aidan Gorry, Liam McGlynn and Kieran Nolan. PJ Ballesty had an excellent race and finished second walker. In the under 12 race, Nicole Gorry was particularly impressive for one so young.
