Westmeath Schools Cross Country

The inaugural National & Secondary Schools Cross Country which was held at Belvedere House, Mullingar on December 1st, was greatly enjoyed by competitors, teachers & organisers alike. The field of 1,000 runners shows that students are still very interested in keeping fit and do recognise the connection between a respectable level of fitness and and their general health and well being.
